Intro: Your Big ‘WHY?’
Getting clear on exactly WHY you want to changed to a more plant-based diet will help you keep going even if people around you are unsupportive.
I went vegan in 2008 and now I eat a mainly plant-based diet. I changed due to feeling empathy for the animals.
But you may have a completely different interest and motivation to adopt a more plant-based diet.
And that is TOTALLY fine.
A plant-based diet might make sense for these reasons:
- for the animals,
- for the environment
- for your physical health (eg. cholesterol, energy levels etc)
- for spiritual wellbeing.
You might call yourself a vegetarian, flexetarian, ambi-vegan or transvegan, or choose not have any label at all!
